Government Documents


Services

The Selby Public Library participates in the Federal Depository Library Program and as such provides a large collection of documents produced by various agencies and departments of the United States Government. Materials range from the "Code of Federal Regulations," to health statistics, National Park brochures, NASA publications, congressional reports and trade data. Formats include print, CD-ROM and microforms. Materials are shelved accoring to the Superintendant of Documents (SuDocs) classification system. Assistance in using the collection and finding government information in print or online is available during regular library hours.

Policies

Most of the government documents can circulate with permission of the reference librarian. Come to the Reference Desk for assistance.
